J. K. Rowling is a writer. she was born in Britain on 31st of July 1965. she is a British author best known as the creator of the Harry Potter fantasy series. Harry Potter is a magician who learns in a magic school called Hogwarts. Dumbledore created Hogwarts and he is the director of the school.

Her first book is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. there are other books: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The Harry Potter books also have drawn films.

Now J. K. Rowling lives in Britain and she is very rich, more than the queen of England. She likes writing books and she likes reading books too.
